Who are the founders of the FSL ecosystem?up
The FSL ecosystem was founded in August 2021 by Australian blockchain entrepreneur Yawn Rong. Mr. Rong has previous experience in the crypto industry, having founded Crypto SA, an Australian crypto fund and pro-regulation auditor, and serving as an ambassador for Algorand and an industry representative of the South Australian Blockchain Association. He founded STEPN, the flagship product of the FSL ecosystem, with his partner Jerry Huang, a game developer and former founder of Falafel Games.
How was the FSL ecosystem funded?up
The FSL ecosystem raised a significant $5 million seed round from some of the biggest crypto venture capital firms, including Sequoia Capital, Folius Ventures, Solana Capital, Alameda Research, 6th Man Ventures, and DeFi Alliance. The ecosystem also received funding from several notable angel investors, such as Santiago R. Santos and Asia Partner of Republic Zhen Cao.
What is the use case and utility of the GMT token?up
GMT is the native token of the FSL ecosystem, with a fixed supply of approximately 6 billion tokens. GMT is used extensively across all FSL ecosystem products, including being used to burn tokens, unlock various functions and perks, and facilitate transactions and liquidity within the ecosystem. The token plays a crucial role in powering the different applications and services offered by the FSL platform.
