Aptos was co-founded by Mo Shaikh and Avery Ching, both former employees of Meta (formerly Facebook). Mo Shaikh is the CEO of Aptos and has experience in the financial services and blockchain/crypto industries. Avery Ching is the CTO of Aptos and was a principal software engineer at Meta. The two previously worked on the Diem blockchain project at Meta before starting Aptos Labs.
