Russian rouble strengthens past 81 to the U.S. dollar

MOSCOW, April 18 (Reuters) - The Russian rouble strengthened past 81 to the U.S. dollar, reaching its highest level since June 28, 2024.
At 0840 GMT the rouble stood at 80.85 to the U.S. currency.
