LONDON, April 15 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining profit rose by nearly 50 cents a barrel on Tuesday as demand increased in the barge market.
A total of 9,100 metric tons of Eurobob E5 traded, with BP and Trafigura selling to Litasco, BMV and TotalEnergies.
Another 14,000 tons of Eurobob E10 traded, with Shell and ExxonMobil selling to Varo and TotalEnergies.
Nigeria plans to establish a national strategic petroleum products stockpile this year to safeguard its economy against disruptions in the international market, the petroleum products regulator said at a press briefing on Tuesday.
In the Platts window, Vitol bought a gasoline cargo from Trafigura on an FOB Augusta basis.
