ReutersApr 14, 2025 4:24 PM

- Keystone pipeline operator South Bow is proceeding with a "carefully controlled restart" of the Keystone Pipeline on Monday, after Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) approved its repair and restart plans, the company said.

The line was shut following an oil spill near Fort Ransom, North Dakota. The 4,327-km (2,689-mile) pipeline, a major conduit for crude oil supply from Alberta to U.S. refineries in Illinois, Oklahoma and along the U.S. Gulf Coast, was shut last week.
