Senior Russian diplomat calls US-Iranian nuclear talks 'encouraging'

April 12 (Reuters) - A senior Russian diplomat on Saturday described as "encouraging" the outcome of U.S.-Iranian talks on Tehran's nuclear programme.
"At the end of today's meeting in Oman, both the Iranians and the Americans called the talks that took place positive and constructive," Mikhail Ulyanov, Russian ambassador to international bodies in Vienna, wrote on Telegram.
"This is encouraging."
