April 9 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order that aims to boost energy production by automatically cutting "outdated regulations", the White House said.
"The order requires ten agencies and subagencies to insert a one-year expiration date into existing energy regulations," according to a White House fact sheet on the order.
The order would also require that, if the regulations are not extended before the expiration date, they would expire no later than September 30, 2026.
