BERLIN, March 21 (Reuters) - A German finance ministry spokesperson said on Friday that further travel is prohibited for a decrepit tanker off the country's Baltic coast believed to be part of a shadow fleet used by Russia to circumvent oil sanctions.
"The customs measures have not yet been finalised in a legally binding manner - further travel is prohibited," a spokesperson said in response to a request for comment from Reuters.
"The further procedure with regard to the ship and cargo is currently being examined by the responsible authorities," the spokesperson said.
