Olaf Scholz
Olaf Scholz is a German politician who has been a significant figure in the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). Born on June 14, 1958, Scholz has occupied various political roles throughout his career, including serving as the Mayor of Hamburg and the Federal Minister of Finance.
In the 2021 German federal election, Scholz led the SPD to victory, and on December 8, 2021, he officially assumed the role of Chancellor of Germany, succeeding Angela Merkel.
