HOUSTON, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Marathon Petroleum Corp MPC.N began restarting the resid hydrotreater (RHU) at its 631,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas City, Texas on Friday, said people familiar with plant operations.
The 64,000-bpd RHU was shut on Thursday to repair a leak discovered under insulation on the unit, according to the sources.
