Saudi Arabia shares higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.34%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms&IT, Retail and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.34%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 7.95% or 7.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) added 6.98% or 3.70 points to end at 56.70 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) was up 6.45% or 5.40 points to 89.10 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which lost 5.88% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.16 in late trade. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) declined 3.44% or 0.58 points to end at 16.26 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (TADAWUL:2130) shed 2.96% or 0.29 points to 9.51.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 183 to 112 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.42% or 0.99 to $70.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.26% or 0.93 to hit $74.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 3.10 to trade at $2,601.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.18, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 100.67.
