Who founded LeverFi?

The project was founded in 2019 by Lawrence Lim and Loh Zheng Rong, based in Singapore. Lawrence Lim, the co-founder, previously worked in traditional finance before transitioning into crypto with IOST, a blockchain network. Loh Zheng Rong, the co-founder and marketing lead, is a graduate of the Singapore Management University and has prior experience in the blockchain space.

What makes LeverFi unique?

What makes LeverFi unique is its integration of trading and farming into a single platform. Users can deposit collateral as single assets, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Curve liquidity provider tokens (LP), and Uniswap LP, and then unify their collateral to trade with larger positions. The platform also supports users who engage in pair trading or hedging with leverage, while allowing them to utilize the platform in conjunction with DEX/CEX derivatives.

What's the maximum supply of the LEVER token?

The LEVER token is a governance token with a maximum supply of 35 billion. Users can participate in the governance of the protocol by locking up LEVER for a period of 6 to 48 months, with each token representing one vote. This allows users to have a say in issues regarding the addition or removal of collateral, lending pools, and tradable assets.
